At Distinctive Home Interiors, our philosophy for interior design is simple.-We maximize a client's style by focusing on their needs and desires to achieve a home that is a portrait of it's inhabitants.
-Our style is a metamorphosis of our client's style. That being said, we do not have a "look" that we duplicate. Distinctive Home Interiors strives to bring sophistication, worldly charm, and even a little of the unexpected into every interior we design.
-We design everything in balance--color, texture, spatial arrangement--in order to achieve a comforting and inviting space.
-We are inspired by life, art, literature, music, travel, and history, and look to these inspirations to create layers in a space.
-We believe that the interior architecture is just as important as the interior decoration.
-Distinctive Home Interiors believes that all historic buildings are treasures, and should be respected in their integrity, and preserved and rehabilitated when possible.
-We believe in honesty, ethical practices, and giving our clients the best products and services possible, at the best price possible.
-Our painting contractor has over 30 years experience painting fine homes all over the East Coast. They take great care with each residence, and provide fine attention to detail and conscientiousness to every project. Every residence is fully prepped and receives at the minimum two coats of finish for a polished and seamless finish. No corner is ever cut when our painters are on the job!
